From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our friendly front desk team. We’ll take the time to ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and answer any questions you may have about your appointment or our office. If you’re visiting for the first time, feel free to arrive a few minutes early to allow time for check-in.

Comprehensive Exam

Unless you are having a dental emergency, your first visit will include a thorough dental examination with Dr. Z. This allows us to:

• Assess your overall oral health.
• Check for cavities, gum disease, and infections.
• Get details about your medical and dental history.
• Screen for oral cancer and other abnormalities.

Dr. Z will take the time to explain his findings and answer any questions you have. We believe in empowering our patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their oral health.

Digital Imaging & X-rays

To get a complete picture of your oral health, we’ll take digital x-rays. These provide detailed images of your teeth, jaw, and bone structure, helping us to detect issues that might not be visible during a visual exam. Our advanced technology ensures quick, precise, and safe imaging. Without these crucial dental x-rays, there is no way to know for certain anything happening below your gums, jawbones, and the roots of your teeth. Additionally, our mobile units allow us to come to you! No moving around rooms or switching seats.

Personalized Treatment Plan

Based on your exam and x-ray results, we’ll discuss any recommended treatments or follow-up visits. Whether it’s routine care or addressing specific concerns, we’ll tailor a plan that fits your needs, goals, and budget. We’ll also discuss preventive care strategies to help you maintain a healthy, beautiful smile between visits.

Professional Cleaning

While we aren’t always able to get to your cleaning the first time you see us, our staff strives to. Dr. Z has to complete your full exam and diagnosis what type of cleaning you need. At the conclusion of your discussion with the doctor, if there is time remaining, he may be able to start your teeth cleaning process. This includes:

• Removing plaque and tartar buildup.
• Polishing your teeth for a smooth, sparkly finish.
• Educating you on proper brushing and flossing techniques to maintain your oral health at home.

If additional treatment is needed, such as periodontal therapy for gums health, we’ll create a personalized plan to address it.
